Battles Illustrations
Seeing as I' am hopefully going to be meeting them on the 6th of June, but definitely seeing them play live, I thought I'd make a few illustrations to show/give/or get signed on the day. Here they are, but the photo quality isn't great as the light shines off the pencil so they look really bright. I took the theme of their new single "Ice Cream" and the three Neopolitan flavours they have released it in as 12" records, and used each flavour on each portrait.

This girl is ace! Reminds me a little of Miss L.E.D with the Pre-Raphaelite references. Nicely stylised and gothic in places, Liza's work achieves great depth using watercolour. http://lizacorbett.com/
