I' am happier with this version, more colour certainly gives more life to this illustration, so introducing it more when appropriate can improve the stuff that I draw. Drawings like these are quite early introductions to using watercolour and pencil at the moment.

Jamie T
I can't make my mind up whether I like this or not at the moment, which tends to be the problem most of the time when I do something new. I just think I need to improve on the darker areas of the image and define them so that there's much more of a contrast, allowing the colour to come through a little more. I might add more pencil shading just to make shadows darker. The other issue I have is the likeness to Jamie T when looking at a photo, but I won't worry about this a great deal. The burst of green definitely gives the drawing some vibrancy and life, otherwise it might just feel dull.
Mattias Adolfsson
I' am a big fan of Mattias Adolfsson and when I heard that he was
releasing a book of his work my ears pricked up. This video is a
pleasent surprise as I can't actually afford to buy anything, but still
virtually flick through it. I really love his style and at some point in
the future I'll post up some of my favourite bits.

Reboot
This is my friend Lily Glover's beautiful and well crafted short for
the first year end of year show. It's such a heart wrenching story it
left our tutor almost in tears, which is testament I suppose to how
well made it all is, and the power and simplicity of the story, when
you bear in mind there is no dialogue involved. Hats off to Lily!
Ladyhawke
Quick sketch and watercolour
Lacking oomph, needs a bit more darkness and maybe bring the colour out a bit more.
